Commercial Concrete Grind and Seal

Do you want to create a rustic charm in your commercial property? Do you want to preserve your warehouse concrete floors from the constant traffic and heavy loads? Concrete grind and seal is an affordable flooring solution that protects your concrete floors while enhancing their look.

Concrete grinding is a specialized process that utilizes specialized equipment to smooth and level concrete surfaces. This method is crucial for various purposes, including eliminating surface imperfections, preparing surfaces for coatings and overlays, and restoring damaged or worn concrete surfaces. By eliminating surface imperfections like bumps, cracks, and unevenness, concrete grinding enhances both the appearance and functionality of concrete surfaces. It also facilitates the application of coatings and overlays, which not only safeguard the surface from damage but also prolong its lifespan.

Concrete grinding presents a fantastic cost-effective alternative to concrete polishing, particularly in industrial settings such as factories. Often, when people envision polished concrete, it's concrete grinding that initially comes to mind. While similar to polishing, concrete grinding differs in that it skips the final polishing steps. Consequently, ground concrete lacks the gleaming high-sheen finish of polished concrete and exhibits less exposed aggregate (referred to as 'salt and pepper' exposed aggregate). This method finds frequent application in environments like car parking lots and warehouses, catering to industrial needs. However, its utilization is expanding into industrial-style residences and apartments.

Concrete grinding is sealed, and we can use a gritted sealant if you’d prefer a more rugged, slip-resistant finish. If you’re after polished concrete that focuses more on function over style, grinding and sealing is perfect for the job. It strengthens the flooring, is more resistant to penetration and abrasives, cheaper than polishing, and requires much less maintenance.
